So now take radio is un-informed according to some conservative  members of Congress?
If we are getting our information about immigration from talk radio then our congressional members
have done a poor job of educating us or infringing on our trying to educate ourselves so we can hold our
senators and congressmen accountable.  Is this not what our country is about and what the founders
wanted when they established freedom of speech?  I say that any member of Congress that does not
want to be held accountable should resign or not run again.  We the people have a right to get our information
so that we are educated.  Stop attacking the messenger and look in the mirror!

Do we sacrifice what we believe in just to pass a "bill" so that we can say we did something?
Is someone came into your house and told you that now that person that was just squatting in front
of your house, you now have to allow him/her access to your facilities and also feed him/her and this was
against what you  believed in, then what would your reaction be? HUH!  I have been truly disappointed
in the Conservative Movement, Republicans have lost me at least for now, and now the leaders of the
"Conservative" movement are selling us out and calling us un-american for not accepting a bill that solves
nothing yet we have to take the RNC's word on this?  I will not be supporting a party that does not
stand for the values that define the conservative movement.  I am really dumb founded and just
disappointed and will continue to pray for all involved because this required intervention from a
higher power. Amen!

As our country head toward the primaries and then the elections of '08 I would like to  encourage our elected officials and the mainstream media to consider the words that they will be publishing and uttering in their articles and also in their daily lives.  Our country was founded with a great constitution and also a bunch of amendments that our fore fathers gave us to allow us to  live and communicate with each other but they did not give us the morality and the ethics to go by.  These are things that are taught, displayed and also learned as they are passed on from generation to generation.  I am truly disturbed by the language that we use under the guise of "Freedom of Speech" towards each other.  It is a truly bad example when we have our elected leaders stoop to this level of "free speech" yet they do not have the "marbles" to say what really needs to be said, not just a convenient sound bite.

As we move past the SOTU and the elections in Nov. 2006 I have had my eyes opened even more by the president that has protected us since 9/11 and has the right attitude to fight this war on terror.  It has come to my attention that Pres. Bush's attitude on immigration is no different than the one he had when governor of Texas.  He wants to be compasionate, which I agree our country is known for, but you have to weigh the consequences of your actions when you are President of the US versus the governor of a south west state like Texas.  Who is advising our president when it comes to immigration?  Is he just stubborn on this issue and refuses to see the damage that illegal immigration is causing our country?  I support my president but his refusal and the refusal of our elected leaders to address this issue has caused me to not send in any money to support the status quo.  Wake up America and see what this illegal activity is doing to our country.  Do we have to wait until the hospitals and public services close down for lack of money?  I want my party to return to its core values on immigration, taxes, security and social issues and it seems that the hopefuls for 2008, Republicans, have not shown me anything that really excites me wanting to go and campaign for one.
I pray that there is a secret weapon out there for the conservatives because we are not being served by the current leadership.  Bring in some new young, with passion and conviction, upstart because I do not like what I am seeing.  God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops.
